Spain BonoLoto History

Spain BonoLoto History

Spain BonoLoto was first drawn in 1988, 28th February. It has then become the main foundation of Loteria Nacional. There were many amendments that happened with Bonoloto. One is the ticket cost refund that was issued in 1991. It gives the player the chance to get a refund on his ticket if he gets the bonus number. This lottery game also costs less to play than its sister lotto the “La Primitiva” but it has been just as popular. It is played using the same rules and its jackpots to create a whole lot of excitement. It is one of the popular lottery games provided by the Spain’s National Lottery (Loteria National). According to the Spanish State Lottery, non-Spanish citizens can participate in the lottery and claim prizes just the same as Spanish citizens. The only restriction is that any prize winnings must stay within Spain or you face paying taxes on the amount won upon entering to another country.

The Spanish BonoLoto is being drawn every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Bonoloto tickets can be bought at any participating lottery outlets in Spain. These outlets are called Loterias y Apuestas Del Estado. The participating outlets are typically colored blue so it can be easily identified by anyone. The ticket price is 50 cents. It can be filled out by marking 6 numbers or by buying a computer drawn ticket. It is a 6/49 game played 4 times a week. The BonoLoto jackpot generally starts off at 400,000 Euros and it will roll over each time it is not won. Meaning, it will steadily rise up to 4 times every week until there is a jackpot winner. The lotto draw takes place at 9pm CET (Central European Time).
