About German Lotto

Since 1974, German Lotto is giving away a huge amount of prize money for the various levels of winnings in this traditional 6/49 lottery draw. The Germans call this Lotto 6 aus 49. A player has to choose 6 numbers from 1 to 49 to and bet this on the desired draw schedule. The player has to choose which draw he would like to play on as on Wednesday the minimum amount for a jackpot prize is €1 million while on a Saturday the minimum jackpot prize is €2 million. Whenever there is no jackpot prize winner the amount rolls over to the next draw giving a higher prize winning. In order to win the jackpot prize all the 6 winning numbers plus the Super Ball must match the numbers in the ticket.

German Lotto is managed by Deutscher Lotto – und Totoblock (DLTB) together with other 15 lottery games in Germany. All these 16 lottery games are also under a cooperative called Lotteriegesellschaften.
